A room can tell you a great deal about its owner. A dead potted plant in the corner informs the reader that the occupant is not conscientious. Today’s challenge is to describe a room in a way that offers information about those who usually occupy it.

    The dark, gleaming cherry furniture against the deep, forest green walls should have created a formal feel; but the framed Phish posters, eclectic collection of books crammed onto all horizontal spaces, and the clearly comfortable over-stuffed sage chairs beckoned visitors.
